I was researching a trip to London in March and thought I would use my frequent flyer miles. I simply cannot believe that BA would even think it is realistic to charge $616 per ticket in fees and surcharges. I can buy a ticket for that. What is the point of frequent flyer miles if you end up paying the same as you would on another carrier anyways. These credit cards come with fees. The last time I used the tickets just a year ago the surcharge of just over $300 an increase of 100%. BA what are you thinking…do you want to lose a customer I do travel and pay full fare too that’s how I get the miles in the first place as well as the credit card.

Are you serious? What is the pint in earning the air miles in the first place? That is ridiculous. It’s pretty much the same price as booking the flight minus miles would be. Talk about removing the incentive. And a 100% increase in a year is astronomical, I know most people’s fee’s have gone up across the board but that is just excessive!
